I also live in the Los Angeles area, but rarely take the freeways!

That's the beauty of driving in LA, you don't have to take the freeways. As long as you understand the traffic patterns and the side streets:)
I live in chicago now and driving on the freeways here completely sucks!! worse than LA. You can't get off them here and just take side streets....

BTW, does anyone know where those freeways are in the photos?? or are they artworks done in photoshop??
They do look a bit scary to drive. I do know they are not Los Angeles freeways.

Wow amazing photos! I have always had a love affair with the architecture of LA's freeways. they are INCREDIBLE... However the thought of driving on them would make me literally pee my pants
hahaha, yeah, that's not for real. awesome job though.
