Settle down please. I know it's Wal-Mart. But where else can you fill up your shopping cart with seventeen items--ranging from milk and large boxes of Goldfish...to twelve-pack socks, underwear and paper towels...to cute girls' tops and flip-flops...to light bulbs, a few perennials and an electric broom--all for under $75? Okay. Where else?
So do tell...do you ever shop at Wal-Mart?

Very cute! My son's favorite store is Walmart. "Where else can you get your oil changed, go to the bank, get some chicken and socks?"
Gotta love it.
it isn't bad at all ....I saw #5 last year somewhere online and when I went to the online walmart, they were sold out .....love it.
Never.
Well of course! They have amazing night gowns, super comfy!! No, I'm not an 80 year old grandma.. ha!
never ever. this is the one store i refuse to go into (although their ethics are slowly getting better thanks to a bazillion lawsuits). i do enjoy a good deal though and it looks like their clothing is stepping up.
I used to shop at the neighborhood market version for the bulk of my groceries bc it was so inexpensive... They closed it and opened a Super Walmart a little further away. It's not such a good bargain for me bc I *always* end up with extra stuff in my basket. Even at such low prices, it's still more than is on my list when I walk in the place!
wal mart?!?!?! not bad at all!!!!
I used to until we moved. Now the closest walmart is a bit too ghetto for me:)
I stop going to Wal-Mart after a lady got shot by a dart. I'm not kidding. But I did went to a newer one, it was quite nice and not as crazy.
That checked store is adorable. Any chance you can find them online?
no walmart for me
Now that Wal-Mart is stepping up their clothing I shop there much more often. The deals are great!
time out: "electric BROOM"?! hilarious.
just found your blog and am loving it. i hear you about wal-mart. sometimes it's unavoidable--and seriously! when i found long-sleeved shirts there for SEVEN DOLLARS EACH over christmas (when visiting my parents, who live in a tiny town where wal-mart is the new thing), i went for it. it is so rare that i find the perfect length of sleeve/shirt (i'm tall), that i take what i can get. those shirts have served me well and are some of my favorites.
so kudos to those people who can always afford to buy organic cotton tees from the local earthy boutique, but that is not my life. i do my part, but i also do what works for me.
well, that turned out to be a bit long!
