Holiday gift baskets at Vanilla Spoons

There's one way to take the stress out of your holiday shopping: Order a gluten free gift basket from Vanilla Spoons. If there's someone on your list who has gluten intolerance or a wheat allergy, you can feel confident in choosing one of our gourmet gift baskets which have movie-themed names like Close Encounters of the Sweet Kind and Mix and The City. (Cheeky, I know.)

Etsy find

If metal (not heavy) is your thing, then you'll love the handmade urban rustic metal jewelry at Cindy's Art & Soul Etsy shop. She designs bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings using sterling silver and copper metal in addition to creating inspirational, custom stamped jewelry.

Farmhouse favorites with a French twist.

Self-described as "clean, simple and comfortable," Farmhouse Wares is one of those shops where it's kind of hard to choose merely a few faves. Practically everything in this store is my favorite. Go visit, and you'll see what I mean.
A wicker bread basket by Comptoir de Famille
Tin French pots
Savon de Marseille olive oil soap cube
Brick French dishtowels
Marmiton tian rustic yellowware bowl
(I wasn't sure if this one qualified as being French, but I LOVE yellowware for the kitchen--and marmiton's etymology is French, meaning chef's assistant or kitchen boy.)

I absolutely love the name and tag line of this shop.

Here are a few things sold at Noun...
Wanna guess the name of the shop's blog? Grammar Girl of course.

By the way, I'm in the process of creating a new gluten free gift basket for Vanilla Spoons. Do you have any suggestions of a movie-themed name for this new basket?

Gift ideas for those fond of English culture.

Here are a few home goods and gifts for Anglophiles that I found last week while browsing Apartment Therapy.

Handmade rug with iconic Keep Calm slogan.

Routemaster blind set. I think you're supposed to frame these.

Mugs featuring the names of real London streets. (More names of real places in England in the next post.)

Say it with a gluten free gift basket.

Just a reminder that Valentine's Day is less than three weeks away! So if you're thinking about what to do for the dietarily-challenged person in your life, may I suggest one of our gluten free gift baskets from Vanilla Spoons? It would be deliciously thoughtful.

I'm in the grey mood for love.

After you order a Vanilla Spoons gluten free gift basket for your gluten free love-ah this Valentine's Day, be sure to check out these LOVE Candy Prints from Made by Girl. They're hand silk-screened and printed on recycled paper. They're absolutely lovely. Can you say "love" four times in one brief description? That's five.

Holiday gift ideas for your sister, husband, nephew, best friend, roommate, co-worker or anyone else you know who can't eat gluten. (Or wheat.)

Newsweek Magazine calls this book "a delightful memoir of learning to eat superbly while remaining gluten free." From $11.91.

A personal fridge that is great for office or dorm, from $39.99.

A gluten free cookbook that can be enjoyed by everyone, whether they have a gluten intolerance or not, from $12.63.

Well, I'd be silly not to include a gluten free gift basket from Vanilla Spoons. $69.95-$139.95.

A stainless steel 2-pound breadmaker, to make gluten free bread, of course. From $70.98.

A gift certificate to Risotteria Restaurant in New York City. (It's worth a trip to New York.) Read the article in The New York Times.

Even though it has nothing to do with gluten free stuff, I couldn't resist adding this German film. (For obvious reasons.) From $6.87.
